A friend asked me if I would want to get married again after my divorce, and I said of course I would. Then he said it’s better to stay single because you have more freedom to do whatever you want, and since you have your children, you won’t feel lonely anyway.
I replied that one day my children will grow up and start their own lives, and eventually I will be on my own. After I said that, he went quiet for a moment, as if he didn’t expect my answer.
For me, it’s not just about being single or married, it’s about having someone to share life with. Children are a blessing, but they also have their own paths to follow. I just believe that everyone, at some point, needs companionship and emotional support in their life.

Ugh, I'm so scared of trusting women and moving forward with conversations. What if everything is going perfectly, and then she suddenly ghosts me or says 'vibe nahi match hui'?

But now that I want to get married, these thoughts are really holding me back.

I pray, pray and pray!

I raised my hands in the quiet of night,
calling upon the Lord of all hearts.
My du’a rose softly, heavy with hope
and returned in silence I did not understand.

🌸 Assalamu Alaikum everyone 🤍

I’m a mum of four, based in Birmingham, and we have a joint mortgage on our family home.

Going through separation and divorce, and I just need some honest, clear advice please what do I need to know, and what do I need to do regarding the mortgage and finances?

I’m not looking for anyone to represent me or take my case just simple guidance, or if anyone has been through the same and knows how it works, I’d be so grateful to hear from you.

Anything you can share would really help. JazakAllah Khair in advance 🤲✨

No matter how much you want a certain person to be in your life,

if that person is not willing to make the efforts and sacrifice to be with you,

there is nothing you can do.

All you can do is make dua and ask Allah to grant you the one who will in'sha Allah.

🌷 Divorced Muslims Group Question 🌷

Let’s keep it positive today.

What is something in your life right now that you’re genuinely grateful for?

It could be:
🤍 Your children
🤍 Your health
🤍 Your peace of mind
🤍 A lesson you learned
🤍 A second chance
🤍 Your relationship with Allah
🤍 A goal you’ve achieved

Sometimes we get so focused on what didn’t work out that we forget to appreciate what Allah has already blessed us with.

I’ll start:

I’m grateful for the wisdom that comes from experience. Some lessons were expensive, but they made me stronger, wiser, and more appreciative of what truly matters.

Your turn. What are you grateful for today? 🌷🤲🤍

So I am genuinely looking for marriage, a home together, a family. I've never been married, no kids, but I don't mind if my person has been through it. If my person is out there somewhere. Find me inshallah
