Another banker describes modern Islamic banking as not truly Islamic because they do exactly the same things that all banks do but call it a different name. I heard another banker say the same thing. 'They all create money from nothing' I.e. Fractional Reserve Banking.
Salaam, do we count non liquid assets when determining zakat and sadaqah calculations. I include liquid and non liquid but my parents say only use liquid assets

imo the Hormuz situation is putting more nails into the coffin of the petrodollar system
the burgers are ruining their racket because of their deranged zionist ideology - may Allah (SWT) throw them into hellfire ameen
imo this could also be a scheme by the burgers to deliberately sabotage energy supply from the GCC to:
- -benefit burger energy
- -contain chyna
- -punish the Global South (especially BRICS)
I remain puzzled by Muslim's who intentionally engage in interest paying investments 🤔. I can understand it under certain circumstances like pensions - because workers don't have a choice in the UK. But when someone says I am going to put my money in this investment with intention to gain such & such interest? ?? Does anyone have any ideas of 'Truly Islamic ' investments that do not involve riba?
