Why do some guys always want to move the conversation off the this app the second you match? 😭
Like sir… we exchanged 4 messages. Why are you asking for my WhatsApp, or number already? When you let them know this is the only social media you got.
I know sometimes it’s harmless — easier texting, better notifications, wanting to see if you’re real, etc. But other times it feels like:
avoiding accountability/reporting on the app
trying to rush intimacy
collecting followers/contacts
or just seeing who’s easiest to access
And honestly, if someone gets annoyed when you say “I’d rather stay on here a little longer first,” that already tells you everything you need to know.
Moving off-app shouldn’t feel like a test. Boundaries are normal.
