Here's a conundrum that's been on my mind....
🔸Women(single mothers included) are criticized when they try to make a career for themselves (to support themselves or their kids), saying that they are focused on acquiring dunya, deviating from the practices of Sunnah etc etc.
🔸So when they (single moms) decide to stay at home and let a man do his job, and look out for someone who can take care of them (and their kids) and provide for their needs(as how it should be according to Sunnah; as it should be for single women as well), they get called a 'gold-digger' 🤷🏻♀️
What gives, people??
