There is no overlap in the way we love
We can’t make room for one another
When I didn't ask for a Flower 🌹, the Whole world became a garden 🏡
yet when I saught a flower 🌹, every Bloom turned into a thorn

The problem with fairy tales is they set us up for disappointment
closure wasn't meeting for one last time like we always said it would be. it wasn't one last kiss or one more moment lying together whilst time melted away. closure wasn't ending as 'friends' or acting like nothing happened. closure was the realisation that my life was better before you. closure was noticing that we were on different paths. closure was accepting that you hurt me and that i needed to heal on my own. closure was wishing you well and going back to a life without you. it was never about losing feelings, it was about finally choosing myself.
