Life is short. We really don’t have as much time as we think we do.
I recently saw two siblings—like an aunt and uncle to me—both in their 60s, who were single and had built a truly beautiful home together. They passed away only a week apart. Visiting that house left a deep impact on me.
It made me reflect on how quickly life moves, and how often we keep saying “later” to love, honesty, and real connection. There’s nothing wrong with being single, but it also reminded me not to take time or people for granted.
We assume there will always be more time… time to express feelings, time to choose someone, time to build something meaningful. But life doesn’t always wait for our plans.
Let’s be honest with ourselves and others. Let’s say what we feel. Let’s take relationships, people, and our surroundings seriously while we still can.
A beautiful home is even more meaningful when it’s filled with shared love and presence. 🤍

A month later, she reached out to him and apologized for her actions.
