Assalamu alaikum everyone.
So our sister @pn01 made this very thoughtful initiative for those looking who are seriously looking for a spouse. Especially for the Bangladeshi diaspora community. Fear not and give it a shot by clicking the post below.
Bismillah!!

A friend asked me,

"What's your type?"

I thought about it for a second and said,

"Someone I can sit with in complete silence without feeling awkward."

Not the tallest.
Not the richest.
Not the most perfect.

Just someone who makes ordinary moments feel special.

Someone who sends a random message saying,
"Did you eat?"

And somehow that simple question feels like a warm hug.

Someone who remembers the little things I forgot I told them.

The funny thing is...

When we're younger, we think love is fireworks. 🎆

But as we get older, we start looking for peace.

A person who feels like home after a long day.
A person who makes life lighter instead of heavier.

Maybe that's why the right person isn't the one who makes your heart race.

Maybe they're the one who makes it feel safe. ❤️✨

One of the strangest things about life is that everyone is fighting a battle you can't see.

The person laughing the loudest might be carrying the heaviest worries.

The person who says "I'm fine" might be trying their best to hold everything together.

And the person who seems strong all the time might just need someone to ask, "How are you really doing?"

We judge people by a few moments.

But everyone has a story we know nothing about.

So be patient.
Be gentle.
Be kind.

The world already has enough critics.

What it needs more of is understanding. ❤️✨

And if you're reading this, I hope something good happens to you this week. 😊

I matched with someone, and things were going well. She informed her family about me, and they asked where my parents were from. When they found out I’m not from Sylhet, which is where their family is originally from, they said it wasn’t going to work.

I thought this kind of issue was common back home. But seeing educated people (masters phd from top us school) choose regional culture over religion is pretty sad.

A quick note because I get asked this all the time:

I'm Bangladeshi, not Pakistani.

I'm not sure why some people assume that being tall or having lighter skin means someone can't be from Bangladesh. Bangladesh has over 170 million people with a huge variety of appearances, skin tones, and heights.

Being Bangladeshi doesn't mean looking a certain way. Just like any other country, people come in all different shades and backgrounds.

So yes, I'm Bangladeshi. 😊

To my future spouse,

Right now, we don't know each other.

You're probably living your life, scrolling through Muzz, ignoring some profiles, replying late to messages, and telling yourself you're "just looking." 😂

Meanwhile, I'm over here trying to write a decent post without sounding desperate, awkward, or like I'm applying for a government job. 😭😂

The funny thing is, we're both probably making the same dua, hoping for the same thing: someone genuine, someone kind, someone who feels like peace after a long day.

So wherever you are, take your time.

I'm still working on becoming the person you deserve.

But if you happen to see this post... please don't judge me by my bio. I wrote it in a moment of panic. 💀😂❤️

Dear Assalamualaikum

That's good to hear! I guess it's a bit quiet then? Sometimes a calm day can be nice, though! Do you have anything fun planned for after work?

Random question:

If we were stuck in traffic for 3 hours with no music and no phones, what would we talk about?

Your answer will probably tell me more about you than your entire profile. 😂❤️

I think one of the most attractive things about a person is kindness.

Not looks.
Not money.
Not a perfect profile.

Just someone who treats people well, stays honest even when it's difficult, and makes others feel safe and respected.

The world already has enough temporary things. I'd rather build something real with someone who values faith, loyalty, laughter, and peace.

Also, if you can make me laugh when I'm having a bad day, that's a huge bonus. 😄❤️
