I saw this one dude from another social media platform trying to find a partner. He posted multiple times, and each time he posted, many people pointed out that he needed to spruce up his looks. For example, getting a better haircut and styling it more neatly. To change his wardrobe a bit to look more mature, as he likes to post photos of himself wearing only sport jerseys. There's nothing wrong with that, but we know first impressions matter, and wearing a nice shirt wouldn't hurt anything. People also advised him to use more skincare so he looks "fresh" and to just take better photos. Most of the advice even came from men, to support him. He's not that ugly either, he just needs to style himself better and be more confident.

But he never tried to change and follow the advice. Every time he posted, he had the same kind of look and didn't change anything. He only complained once in a while that women nowadays are picky, since he only works as a food delivery rider and e-hailing driver.

What do you guys think about this kind of person? If you're a woman, would you give him a chance?

I listened to a beautiful reminder today about Allah’s forgiveness. Sometimes, while making du’a, memories of past mistakes return, and we project the way we remember our sins onto Allah, as though He holds onto them the way we do. But sincere tawbah means trusting His mercy and believing that He has forgiven what we have left behind. We should move forward with hope, not remain trapped in shame.

I don't understand the point of sending someone a chat request, and then after they accept it, you make a good conversation with them.... but after a couple of days,they just leave the chat. 🤷‍♂️
