The person I’ve decided to marry said he could spend £15K for the wedding all in. This includes the ring, mehr (money/gold), nikkah and wedding party. I told him it’s plenty. Am I being naive?
People often say: do istikhara, and if something is good for you, the path will open; if it’s not, your heart will be turned away.
But my question is…what about obstacles?
If you want something and face unanticipated challenges, does it mean it’s not meant for you? Or does it simply mean you’re being tested and strengthened for it?
Are obstacles a sign to STOP… or a sign to keep going with patience and trust?
Because sometimes the right path is not easy. And sometimes the wrong path feels easy.
So how do we really understand the difference?
