When sharing your thoughts on here. I expect different opinions. That's part of putting yourself out there. What I didn't expect was the level of negativity that followed.

It wasn't just disagreement. It was people making assumptions about me. Forcing their own thoughts and narratives onto me. Twisting what i had written just to suit themselves.

They took my words out of context. Putting meanings behind them that were never there: all to make me look foolish and ignorant. Instead of trying to understand what I was actually saying, they chose to distort it to fit the version of me they had already decided to believe. Words carry weight.

When I first joined Muzz, it didn't feel like this. There was a sense of community, kindness, and respect, even when people disagreed. Now, it feels like people are so quick to judge, ridicule, and tear others down without stopping to think about the person on the other side of the screen.

We often remind each other that we're all Muslims. Yet sometimes we forget the very values our faith teaches us. Compassion, gentleness, mercy, and protecting one another's dignity. Not every thought needs to be voiced and not every opinion needs to be delivered in a way that wounds someone.
No one should have to log off feeling broken because of the way strangers choose to treat them.

I also want to take a moment to sincerely thank @The_Undefeated She reached out to check if I was okay because she sensed I was genuinely upset. That simple message meant more than you probably realise. At a time when so much negativity was being thrown my way, your kindness reminded me that there are still people with beautiful hearts.

May Allah SWT reward your thoughtfulness, accept your kindness, and increase you in goodness. Ameen. Thank you for checking in on me. Your small act of kindness did not go unnoticed. The way you messaged me late into the night, stayed up and was still there talking to me at Fajr, the time i had woken up just to make sure I was okay ❤️
