Please don’t continue living through your past.

The rear-view mirror exists for a reason. You glance at it to stay aware of what is behind you but you never stare at it while driving forward.

Your past should inform you, not imprison you.

Not every man will repeat your ex-husband’s mistakes.
Not every woman will repeat your ex-wife’s mistakes.

Do not make someone else pay for wounds they never caused.

Carry the lessons, leave the bitterness.

If Allah grants you another opportunity to build a family, enter it with wisdom instead of suspicion, gratitude instead of fear and tawakkul instead of baggage.

The divorce was a chapter, not the entire book.
The betrayal was an event, not your identity.

Don’t let yesterday steal the blessings that Allah may have prepared for tomorrow.

And above all,

Don’t make divorce your identity. Make it your lesson. Your true identity remains the same – a servant of Allah, journeying towards the Hereafter.

Marriage is a tough decision but a good decision when you found your own partner
