I’m planning to work in New Zealand, Canada, or Australia. I just need someone to guide me through the process.

Hi! I may want to apply for PhD positions in New Zealand. I wanted to ask from Muslims in New Zealand about the Muslims' community there since it's my key factor to chose a country where I may want to migrate to and live for a long time. How great or bad do you find New Zealand for Muslims? Do you have any opinion about that? Compared to other welcoming countries for students and immigrants, how do you find New Zealand? I really appreciate your suggestions. Thanks a lot🙏

Just a gentle reminder for Muslim girls in New Zealand, especially those using Muzz.

I recently had a bad personal experience with a Muslim man based in Christchurch. I won’t mention his name here, but I feel the need to say this because I noticed he is back on Muzz and seems to be trying to connect with women again.

From my experience, he showed manipulative and gaslighting behaviour. He twisted situations, shifted blame, made me question my own feelings, and often framed things as if I was the problem when I was simply responding to what he said or did. There were also moments where his words and actions made me feel pressured, judged, and emotionally unsafe.

I’m not sharing this to start drama or attack anyone. I’m sharing this because sometimes women stay silent, and the next person ends up going through the same thing. Please be careful, trust your instincts, and don’t ignore red flags just because someone presents himself as religious or serious about marriage.

Protect your peace. Ask questions. Watch how someone handles disagreement, accountability, boundaries, and your dreams. That usually tells you more than sweet words ever will.
