Anime and Comics

I’ve watched anime pretty much my whole life but I only just considered reading manga after a few Jamaa geeks convinced me.

I’ve only read one volume so far, Volume 3 of Black Torch as I loved loved loved the two episodes released and couldn’t wait to find out what happened next. (Watch black torch or read it its fire!) anyway I came across an amazing panel and my first thought was “this would’ve had such a huge shock factor if I’d seen it in the anime first. It’s going to look incredible when it’s animated.”

Now it feels like I’m spoiling the anime for myself and losing that first time reaction.
So what’s the best way to experience both?
Anime first then manga or manga first then anime?
