On the search for a life partner. For me, a strong connection to Islam and dedication to prayer come first. If you value the same, I’d love to connect and see where this journey takes us.

The loudest green flag isn't "good morning" texts.

It's consistency when nobody is watching.

Charm attracts.
Character stays.

Stay tuned.

Dear brothers and sisters,

Have you ever reflected on why Allah describes a husband and wife as garments for one another? This is one of the most beautiful and profound descriptions of marriage in the Qur'an. A garment serves many purposes, and each one teaches us how spouses should treat each other.

  1. Covers flaws:
A garment covers our imperfections instead of exposing them. Likewise, a husband and wife should protect each other's weaknesses, conceal each other's mistakes, and never use their flaws as weapons during disagreements.

  2. Protects:
Clothing shields us from heat, cold, and harm. In the same way, spouses should protect one another emotionally, spiritually, and physically, becoming a source of safety, peace, and security.

  3. Beautifies:
A garment enhances a person's appearance. Similarly, a righteous spouse brings out the best in the other, encourages good character, and helps them become a better Muslim and a better human being.

  4. Gives comfort:
We feel comfortable and at ease in our clothes. Marriage should provide that same comfort, where both spouses find peace, reassurance, compassion, and emotional support in each other.

  5. Represents closeness:
Nothing is closer to us than our clothing. This reminds us that marriage is built on intimacy, trust, love, mercy, and a deep bond that should not be broken by pride, anger, or ego.

May Allah make us spouses who cover each other's flaws, protect one another, bring out the best in each other, provide comfort, and remain close through love, mercy, and obedience to Him. Ameen.
