Life has been gentle with me lately.

My favorite meal, another episode of my new series, lots of laughter, a classic lecture from my aunt, and now my mom is putting henna in my hair.
I’ve been quietly away from the world, spending my days with family. Last night, we stayed out until 3 a.m., wandering around Baghdad.
