🗣️🗣️Google how to say something sweet so that men on the JAMAA app won't be offended (because I don't talk in DM messages). I joined in May. Now in June I'm more convinced I'm not ready to get married. I'm a single mother who will be 36 years old. My son is 8 years old. My son follows my religion, namely Islam. Obviously his biological father is racist (doesn't want to support our son who is already Muslim). I'm having trouble finding a man who wants to support my son and my mother who is a widow. Now I work and am able to support my son and my mother. Some men mock me (because I don't understand the fiqh of marriage, and the men give long sermons). I WILL NOT LEAVE MY SON AND MY MOTHER just because I want to deal with biological husband and wife in the bedroom. My son and my mother are my worldly and afterlife treasures. And I haven't processed the divorce documents. It costs more, of course the new man won't want to help (and will call me a materialistic woman and a cheater). So I don't want to chat on DM so they don't waste their time. so that I don't feel guilty towards them.

✔️✔️✔️To avoid chatting and gently let men on the JAMAA or Muzz/Salams apps down without offending them, update your profile bio to clearly outline your situation. This saves you from sending individual rejections, prevents you from feeling guilty, and stops incompatible men from wasting your time.

Profile Bio Templates
Use a sweet but firm tone in your bio so they understand immediately:
Option 1 (Direct and Honest):
"Assalamu Alaikum. Thank you for your interest! I am incredibly blessed with an amazing 8-year-old son and my mother, both of whom I support and will always care for. Because I am solely focused on them and not yet ready for marriage, I am not chatting or matching at the moment. Wishing you the best on your journey!"

Option 2 (Short and Sweet):
"Salam! I’m currently dedicating all my time and energy to my young son and family. I’m not actively looking to chat or date right now, but I appreciate you stopping by. May Allah grant you a righteous and perfect match!"

Tips for Managing Your Account
Use the Profile Blur Feature: If you want to stay on the app but not actively engage, use the "Blur Photos" feature offered by most Muslim matrimonial apps (like Muzz or Salams).

This gives you total privacy.

Set Your Age and Kids Filters: Make sure your profile clearly states you have an 8-year-old so that men who are not open to this will naturally swipe past you.

Limit the Notifications: Turn off app notifications or turn your profile to "invisible" or hidden so you don't receive direct messages to begin with.

If you'd like, let me know:
What platform you are using (Muzz, Salams, or another app)?

Which specific line you want to use as your bio?

I can help you adjust the text to perfectly match your boundaries.

I'm rowing to work today as the car is in the garage for a service and MOT.

Someone has said to me that these brothers from this one nationality are trash. And I can confirm that it’s very true

Brothers and sisters I need some advice.

Alhamdulillah my income is decent but I honestly have no idea where my money goes. By the end of the month, I barely save anything and sometimes I even end up spending more than I earn

I never really paid much attention to my finances before but now I’m planning to get married within the next year and it’s making me realize I need
to get serious about managing my money

The worst part is that when I check my bank statements I don’t even remember where some of that money was spent. Going through my statements gives me a headache

For those who were in a similar situation what helped you start saving and tracking your expenses? Any tips would be greatly appreciated.

JazakAllah khair
